The Kenepuru Road is closed so you can't drive here but Hopewell Lodge is offering water taxi transfers from Havelock for only $25 per person. Enjoy a beautiful 30 minute boat cruise through the Pelorus and Kenepuru Sound, getting here is just part of the adventure. We are happy to help you organise your transfer. Surrounded by native forest and turquoise water, Hopewell Lodge boasts a private beach area. Guests can soak in the outdoor hot tub, or relax in a hammock nestled between the trees. The property offers free WiFi. Hopewell Lodge is located in the heart of Kenepuru Sound. The start of several hiking trails are located on the property. You can access the lodge by road, water or air. It is a 2.5 hour drive from Picton or Havelock. You can take a water taxi from Havelock, Picton or Te Mahia Bay. The guest lounge offers a fireplace, a stereo and a range of books, magazines and games. Guests have access to laundry facilities and a fully equipped shared kitchen. Most rooms feature a balcony with sea views. High quality linen and towels are provided. Guests can explore the picturesque surrounds and enjoy kayaking, mountain biking, fishing and sailing, for an additional charge.
